
Graduate Ticket R.S.V.P. & Parking Registration
Graduates and all Commencement attendees ages 2 and older will require a ticket. Graduates and visitors planning to drive to and park on campus will need special Commencement parking passes.

Tickets
After completing the R.S.V.P. form, eligible graduates will receive the following digital tickets:
One (1) Graduate Ticket

Allows the graduate to participate in the academic procession and sit on the field at SHI Stadium

Required for all graduates; regalia must be worn

Tickets will automatically appear in graduates’ Scarlet Knights accounts after the R.S.V.P. period closes on April 30.

Parking
While R.S.V.P.-ing for the ceremony from April 1–30, graduates may request up to two free Commencement digital parking passes to be used by themselves and their guests. These parking passes are required to park on the New Brunswick-area campuses on Commencement day. Parking permits issued by the Department of Transportation Services will not be valid on this day.
- Graduates will choose from parking zones on the Busch, Livingston, and College Avenue campuses
- Complimentary Commencement shuttles will be available for those traveling from the Livingston and College Avenue campuses
- Parking passes will appear color-coded based upon your lot
- Present the parking pass on your phone at entry and the parking attendant will scan
- Curbside drop-off at SHI Stadium is not permitted for any guests
Need more parking passes?
- Advanced purchase is now closed.
- Additional parking passes will be sold for $10 each on College Avenue on Commencement Day, Sunday, May 18.
Need accessible parking?
A special Commencement digital parking pass is required for accessible parking.
- Registration for accessible parking can be made in the parking registration process
- Guests requiring accessible parking may also email requests to commencement@rutgers.edu
- Graduates or guests who are unable to walk ½ mile or more for any reason are encouraged to request accessible parking

Remember
For a smooth entry, please add your NFC (contactless) tickets to your digital wallet in advance. Only tickets in digital wallets can be scanned at the entrance—screenshots or photos will not be accepted.

During the R.S.V.P. process an authorization prompt will be generated. Fill out the form and wait for approval (this might happen to August 2024, October 2024, January 2025, and August 2025 graduates.) A new account will be created for you via your personal email. You will log in with the personal email provided in the RSVP and you will be prompted to create a password to view your tickets and parking passes.

Tickets and parking passes will be made available in the first week of May. If you RSVP'd after the April 30 deadline, your tickets will be added between May 12 and May 16.

Guests receiving transferred tickets and parking passes will be prompted to create an account to accept them and download them into their digital wallets. One account can hold multiple tickets.

Guests can have multiple tickets on their phone. If a family member does not have a smartphone, another family member can hold all the tickets on their device. However, they will need to enter the stadium together.
The box office located on the North side of the stadium will be open to help those that can't access their tickets.

When they arrive on site, they will be directed to the box office window at the front of SHI Stadium and will be asked to share their graduate’s full name.
