We are extremely disappointed to announce that all May 2020 on-campus commencement ceremonies have been suspended.

We know how much these ceremonies mean to our students and their families and this decision was an extremely difficult and unhappy one to make, despite the clear necessity of keeping our community safe and healthy during this pandemic.

What is a virtual commencement ceremony? What can I expect?

The virtual commencement ceremony will include messages from President Barchi and Commencement Speaker Lester Holt as well as other exciting elements. The virtual celebration will be closed-captioned for those who are hearing impaired. Tune in and find out!

How do I participate in the virtual commencement ceremony?

Students will receive information via email from the University Commencement office with information on how to tune in to this year’s virtual celebration.
