Maps & Directions
We expect more than 30,000 people on the New Brunswick-area campuses on Sunday, May 14, for University Commencement and other school and departmental ceremonies. As traffic volume will be heavy, we recommend that you carpool or consider taking public transportation.
Those driving to campus must register to obtain Commencement parking hangtags. Graduating students must register to receive up to two free parking hangtags for themselves and their families or guests from March 20–April 17. If needed, additional hangtags may be purchased for $5 by students and/or their guests from April 17 at 10 a.m.–May 1 at 9 a.m. Review our Parking Guidelines page for details or to register.
The maps and directions below will provide you with travel routes, event locations, parking lots, and commencement shuttle stops to help you plan your day. Please keep in mind that University Commencement is being held in a stadium. There will not be any curbside dropoff available, so prepare to walk a moderate distance to get to the stadium and to seating.
We recommend that you plan to arrive on campus two hours in advance of Commencement to allow time to park and get to the ceremony.
