It takes a lot of hard work to earn a college degree. You—the friends and family of Rutgers graduates—have provided care, guidance, and support to the students receiving diplomas. So as much as University Commencement marks a day of congratulations, it's also one of pride and gratitude.
Join in the celebration of the 248th Anniversary Commencement on Sunday, May 18, 2014, at 12:30 p.m. in High Point Solutions Stadium. Guests may enter the stadium as early as 10:30 a.m. This event will be a universitywide gathering of the Rutgers community to celebrate our graduating class, from all schools and all campuses.
Tickets are not required, and you may bring as many people as you like to witness this memorable event. Stadium seating is unassigned.
Graduating students will also enjoy additional recognition and festivities at individual school convocations and ceremonies held at various times in the days around University Commencement. Please check with your student's school for details and information on tickets or limits on guests. Check back here for convocation listings.
Visit the Gifts for Graduates page for detailed information and gift suggestions.
Family and friends can have professional photos taken outside the stadium before and after the ceremony. You will be able to view the photos online and purchase them from the vendor.
You can buy flowers and other gifts at the stadium for your graduate.
Throughout the weekend, Rutgers alumni can reconnect with old friends, and make new ones, at reunion events across the campuses. Learn more.
