With Alumni Reunion Weekend running from Thursday, May 16, 2013‚ through Sunday, May 19, 2013‚ we invite you to join us at the 247th Anniversary Commencement on Sunday, May 19, at 12:30 p.m. in High Point Solutions Stadium to welcome our newest graduates.
University Commencement is a universitywide gathering of the Rutgers community to celebrate the graduating classes from all schools and all campuses.
Tickets are not required, and you may bring as many people as you like to witness this memorable event.
Tips for Planning Your Day
- Wear comfortable shoes.
- Bring your sunglasses and a hat.
- There will be a security check at the stadium.

Graduating 40 Years Later
Robert Wedgeworth, who will be at University Commencement on May 19, proves that it's never too late to finish something you started. In 1972, he left Rutgers for a dream job—just before completing his Ph.D. dissertation. He came back 40 years later to finish up his degree and salute Rutgers. Learn more.
