Academic Regalia

To participate in Rutgers University Commencement at High Point Solutions Stadium on Sunday, May 17, 2015, and school convocations, all graduates of Rutgers University–New Brunswick and Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences need to dress in academic regalia, which is your cap, gown, hood, and tassel. Those in the Armed Forces must also wear academic regalia. Military uniforms may be worn underneath academic gowns.

Getting Your Cap and Gown

Students who are on track to obtain their degrees and who plan to participate in Rutgers University Commencement on May 17, 2015, should order and purchase their regalia at the Rutgers University bookstores, which will be available until the morning of May 17. Graduates in from the schools of Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences should contact their school Dean's office for information on obtaining academic regalia.
