From the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 18
From the New Jersey Turnpike, take Exit 9, bear right after the tollbooths, and follow signs for Route 18 North–New Brunswick. Proceed along Route 18 North 3 miles from the turnpike, past the two exits for Route 27, and take the exit marked “George Street–Rutgers University.” At the top of the exit ramp, bear right onto George Street. Then follow signs for the College Avenue Parking Deck. Additional parking will be available in Lot 30 (
see map).
From Route 1
Take the Route 18 North exit. Then follow directions to campus from Route 18 North, above.
From the Garden State Parkway
Take Exit 130 (Route 1 South). Continue on Route 1 South to the exit for Route 18 North. Then follow directions to campus from Route 18 North, above.
From Route 287
Take Exit 9 (River Road, Bound Brook, Highland Park). Proceed east toward Highland Park onto River Road. Continue on River Road for 3.4 miles to the fifth traffic light and turn right onto Route 18 South. Take the first exit, marked “27 South – George Street – Rutgers University.” Continue straight through the traffic light at the top of the exit ramp onto George Street. Then follow signs for the College Avenue Parking Deck. Additional parking will be available in Lot 30 (
